In 2008-2009 over $15,000 in scholarship monies was awarded to VRDC dancers. Won’t you also consider supporting our dancers through our scholarship fund? Please check which category you would like your monies to go towards.

__________Marie Louise Bayuk Memorial Scholarship:

To honor Marie Louise Bayuk’s dedication, devotion and instrumental role in the founding of the Vineland Regional Dance Company, this yearly scholarship was developed by the Board of Directors to benefit future dancers in the art of dance. Its purpose is to serve dance students in their desire to improve their skills, to increase their knowledge and awareness of choreography, techniques and styles and to broaden their vision through exposure to the larger culture of dance.

__________General Scholarship Fund including the Jonathan Phelps Memorial Scholarship:

The Jonathan Phelps Memorial Scholarship, developed by the VRDC Board of Directors, honors the passion, love and commitment Jonathan had to the dance world.  It will benefit a deserving graduating senior as determined by the Artistic Director and the VRDC scholarship Committee.  Its purpose is to recognize a dancer for performance quality, dedication, discipline and determination during their tenure with the VRDC. The recipient will reflect an innate love of dance exemplified by an ability to Shine.
